In addition, your participation is necessary to ensure transparency on Maters` use of public funds and to ensure that nurses and midwives obtain a proposed final agreement guaranteeing conditions consistent with those of Queensland Health. Please send your comments to mater2018@amaq.com.au Mater`s nurses and midwives have not received a pay increase for nearly 2 years, and the organization has rejected the UNQ`s request to pass on a pay increase through an administrative increase while negotiations are over. In addition, the organization threatened its nurses and midwives that if the agreement was rejected by them in the vote, Mater would withdraw the offer of reimbursement from the table. The Queensland Branch Australian Health Federation (ASMOFQB) is responsible for negotiating the following agreements at Mater Hospital: as Mater continues to receive funds from Queensland taxpayers for the provision of public health services, the organization should be held accountable to transfer taxpayers` money to nurses and midwives providing care. Ps If you have heard whispers about the new Qhealth Framework Award, please ignore it, as it does not concern our Mater members. The Fair Work Commission can also help employers and workers who are embarking on the “New Approaches” program. Learn more about the new approaches on the Fair Labour Commission website. We also ask our VMO and SMO members to give their opinions on the claims to be negotiated in the agreements. If a job has a registered contract, the premium does not apply.
