As usual, visitors and staff at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre can order lookalikes at Peterborough Hospital after a contract agreement has been reached to avoid a possible strike by some hospital staff in the food sector. Cupe has been running a months-long campaign in which he has advocated for workers to be paid a more livable wage than the minimum wage. CupE Ontario President Fred Hahn held a rally at the hospital earlier this week to respond to the union`s demands.
